This is undoubtedly one of my favorite times of year – the time when berries are in season in the Pacific Northwest! The season reminds me of my childhood, warm afternoons picking berries for pie and trying not to eat too many (or at least not get caught eating too many). I’ve never made a berry pie for my boys, which is something that I’ll have to change immediately. I still remember the recipe so it can’t be that hard.
